Text message notifications & reminders

Text messages can be more compelling than emails. That's why we offer the option to enable text message notifications & reminders. Available for Enterprise accounts only.

What are text message notifications & reminders?

When requested, ReReady sends an initial notification to your employee that an empty box is being shipped to them, plus up to 3 reminders to ship the laptop back to you. All users can enable emails. Only Enterprise users can also enable text messages. Learn more.

Why send text messages?

To put it simply, text messages are harder to ignore than emails. Most people keep their phone close to them, and check it regularly, whereas they might not check their email for long periods.

We find that a combination of text messages and emails to be the most effective in encouraging employees to return laptops.

How to enable text messages?

To enable text message notifications & reminders, simply enable your company's Enterprise status. When order a return, you will have the option to enter "Employee personal mobile number" to enable text messages for that employee.

To enable your company's Enterprise status:

  1. Log in to your ReReady account (or open a free account).
  2. Click the "Settings" button at the top.
  3. Click the "Company settings" button at the top.
  4. If you haven't already, click "Enable Enterprise service".
  5. When ordering a return, enter the "Employee personal mobile number".
