What is the message log?

The message log shows all emails and text messages we've sent to your employee about a return. For emails, it even shows whether the message was delivered, opened, or clicked by your employee.

Where can I see the message log?

When enabled, the "Message log" section appears at the bottom of every return details page.

What are the email statuses?

Emails progress through these statuses:

  1. Sent. We sent the email, now we're waiting to learn if it will be successfully delivered.
  2. Delivered. The email was successfully delivered, now we're waiting to learn if the employee will open it.
  3. Opened. The email was opened by the employee, who may have taken action as requested.
  4. Opened multiple times. The email was opened multiple times by the employee.
  5. Clicked. The email was clicked by the employee, who likely took action as requested.

We will notify you if your employee email address is reported invalid.

What are the text message statuses?

Text messages only have a status of "Sent".

We will notify you if your employee phone number is reported invalid.

When are messages sent to employees?

We send emails and/or text messages to your employee if you enable them on the "Notifications & reminders" step of the order process.

All users can enable notification & reminder emails to the employee. Enterprise users can also enable text messages, and customize any emails and text messages. All users can disable messages to the employee at any time.

How to enable the message log?

To enable the message log, simply enable your company's Enterprise status so the "Message log" section will appear on your future orders:

  1. Log in to your ReReady account (or open a free account).
  2. Click the "Settings" button at the top.
  3. Click the "Company settings" button at the top.
  4. If you haven't already, click "Enable Enterprise service".
  5. After ordering a return, you will see the "Message log" section on the return details page.
